Fudge:  doce de açúcar, leite, manteiga, chocolate, história inventada, bobagem, lorota, patacoada, falsificar, camuflar, disfarçar, improvisar, inventar, exagerar, fazer malfeito, olar (em exames), evitar.

Tamper (   Pronúncia   ) = mexer (indevidamente), falsificar, adulterar (“...the letter has been tampered with .” - a carta foi adulterada)

Temper Pronúncia   ) = têmpera, condição, disposição mental,  calma, equilíbrio espiritual, humor, temperamento, dureza, moderar, temperar, endurecer (“She lost her temper”-  ela perdeu a calma)
