Fallow: terra não cultivada, fulvo, amarelo tostado, sem cultivo

Synonyms:  dead, dormant, free, idle, inert, inoperative, latent, off, unused, vacant

Gratuity

gratuity - (gorjeta)

(Port.) gratuidade – normalmente usa-se uma locução com a palavra “free”.

Apesar da semelhança, a palavra “gratuity” não equivale a “gratuidade”. “Gratuidade” poderá ser traduzida de diversas maneiras, dependendo do contexto. Uma das formas é usar o adjetivo “free”.

Usually restaurants don’t include gratuity in their bills.- Normalmente restaurantes não incluem a gorjeta em suas contas.

The guitar player received some gratuities from the tourists. = O guitarrista ganhou algumas gorjetas dos turistas.

Para cada item que você compra naquela loja, eles dão uma gratuidade. =  For each item you would buy at that store they would give you another one free.
