We didn’t want to drive all the way to New York. For one, we wouldn’t be there for the wedding because we were short of time.  =  ….dirigir todo o percurso para New York. Para começar nós não estaríamos lá para o casamento porque tínhamos pouco tempo.

I, for one, don’t blame those people. = Eu, só para dar um exemplo, não culpo essas pessoas.

Um bom filme de ação misturado com suspense. Sequestro, pedido de resgate e a atitude surpreendente do pai da criança sequestrada, a personagem vivida por Mel Gibson,  Tom Mullen, são parte da trama. Rene Russo faz o papel da esposa de Tom Mullen. No papel de sequestrador , Gary Sinise é também muito convincente. Embora não seja uma obra de arte, é um filme que vale a pena, especialmente dentro do gênero. Brasil: "O Preço de um Resgate"(1996)
