No site thefreedictionary.com temos a explicação do termo  "butterfly effect" que se originou da "teoria do caos", em Física. Com o mesmo nome foi lançado o filme estrelado por Ashton Kutcher em 2004 (IMDB). No Brasil foi lançado com o título "Efeito Borboleta".
